She is a graduate of the University of North Alabama, USA, where she attained a BA in English Literature and an MA in Secondary School Administration. She has written for newspaper publications such as "ThisDay Daily" newspaper. Ngozi Onyioha is a mother of 2 (Amaka Nkele and Uba Onyioha) and currently resides in Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria.

Ngoma Evelyn Iroabuchi-Moghalu graduated magna cum laude from Howard University, Class of 2002. In her senior year, Ngoma was inducted into both the Phi Beta Kappa and Golden Key  Honor Societies. She was an Honors student and on the Dean's List for four years in a roll. She interned and worked as a staff at the Ralph J. Bunche International Affairs Center, Howard University. As a Patricia Roberts Harris Fellow, she interned on Capitol Hill in the office of the 107th Congress Committee on International Relations. Upon completion of her thesis defense, she graduated on May 10, 2008 with a Masters of Arts degree in Mass Communications and Media Studies from Howard University, Washington in the District of Columbia. She is happily married to Ikechukwu Moghalu and currently resides in Houston, Texas.
